America seems to NEVER stop growing. There are babies being born everyday and new advancements in technology. This shows that the human race is growing, and doing so very quickly. With the growth of small towns, comes the need for proper retailing in those regions. Utah has one of the fastest growing populations in the United States, however shopping there isn't at all up to the level it needs to be. Walmart seems to be the only retailer who has a GREAT strategy. They would move into small areas such as towns in Utah and Colorado and set up shop. There they would grow as a business because people enjoyed the convienance of a store so close. Recently Walmart and other companies like it have seen a gigantic growth amoung these areas because of the amount of people who now call these small towns homes. Even though real estate business isn't in good shape due to recession, small towns, however, seems to doing much better then bigger cities and more dense states. Buying farm land in these states have proves beneficial to a few investors. Also the growth of people migrating into the country has influenced the market today. People like to feel at home and retailers had picked on the trend. The United States will never stop growing when it comes to retailing and people are starting to reap the benefits of it all.

Unidentified Trends
Because of the growth of immigration and diversity in the United States, there are a lot more people affecting retailing and other markets. This has called for a lot of retailers to modify the things they carry, such as food and even clothing. Even in Wal-Mart there is a section dedictated primarly to the Latino community, carrying food and drinks that are transported here from Hispanic countries and regions such as Mexico and South America. Clothing companies even change the things they carry, such as colors and sizes. However other things have to be taken into mind, such as the cut of the clothing since so many woman have much curvier body types then the ones the clothing is designed for. Also companies have even made clothing prices more affordable for people who want to be stylish but doesn't have the money. Even though all these things have been identified, there are still things that have been left out and as retailers there is a lot we can do to improve those things.
